Senior Asset Manager – Shopping Centres

This is a great opportunity to join one of the UK’s most successful and growing property investment business and take a senior role within its shopping centre asset management team. Working across a portfolio of 3 centres, you will be afforded a lot of autonomy to drive performance from these assets on behalf of external investors.

What will I be doing?

  • Determine, implement and drive a creative asset management strategy for each asset to include, leasing, refurbishments, overseeing lease events and where appropriate, physical repositioning of centres
  • Work with external investor owners to deliver their visions for each scheme, both from financial and community benefit perspectives
  • Provide detailed reporting to clients on a monthly basis, attending presentations and delivering strategic updates
  • Oversee all ESG initiatives within the centres
  • Liaise with the in house property managers and on site teams to ensure full compliance and hands on operational excellent

What experiece will I need?

  • You will have worked extensively within the shopping centre sector. Ideally you will have had notable exposure to more secondary assets where granular asset management has prevailed
  • Our client will be looking for you to demonstrate that you have a proven track record in securing retailers under creative leasing terms; introduced new F&B offerings and boosted dwell time through pop ups and events. We are interested in you bringing dynamic ideas!
  • Detailed client reporting will be a feature so you will need to be comfortable in that arena
  • Ideally you will have experience of overseeing refurbishments of centres and possibly repositioning. Have you looked at assets for alternative use?
  • Having worked with town centre assets would be very beneficial
