You’ll be a visible presence across the site, building relationships with occupiers, visitors, local organisations and the wider community.
From wellbeing initiatives and charity partnerships to community projects, school engagement and larger-scale events, this is a role where you can really bring your own ideas to the table.
You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering an engaging programme of events and community activity throughout the year.
Your role will include:
- Creating and delivering a varied calendar of events, activations and community initiatives.
- Working with the wider property and placemaking teams to develop engagement plans and manage budgets.
- Building strong relationships with occupiers and encouraging participation across events and initiatives.
- Organising activities around wellbeing, volunteering, charities, education and the local community.
- Developing memorable larger-scale events that help create a real sense of community.
- Managing suppliers, agencies, contractors and all event logistics from planning through to delivery.
- Ensuring events are delivered safely, professionally, on time and within budget.
- Working closely with internal teams and service partners to ensure the smooth delivery of all activities.
- Building relationships with local businesses, community groups and other external stakeholders.
- Acting as a visible ambassador for the destination and providing an excellent experience for occupiers and visitors.
- Managing digital and physical communications across the site.
- Working with external agencies on marketing campaigns and brand activity.
- Monitoring engagement and gathering feedback to understand the occupier and visitor experience.
- Using surveys, feedback and other initiatives to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting campaigns that promote the destination and strengthen its profile.
- Contributing towards new ideas and initiatives that enhance the overall experience for everyone using the site.
IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE…
- Experience planning and delivering a varied programme of events.
- Strong supplier, agency and budget management experience.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience or an understanding of marketing, digital engagement and brand management.
- A creative approach and the confidence to bring new ideas to the table.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- A hands-on approach — happy to be involved from the initial idea right through to delivery on the day.
- A genuine passion for creating experiences and communities that people want to be part of.
