Overview
If leading the operations of a listed crown jewel shopping destination whilst hosting and maintaining a variety of contemporary and independent stores sounds exciting, this role could be for you. This is a huge opportunity going through a £5 million re-development where you could make a big difference.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Overseeing all Hard & Soft services of the scheme to ensure the highest customer satisfaction.
- Managing and controlling the operational budget and assisting in the annual service change
- Working with the Centre Manager to achieve optimum success, taking on more leadership role when appropriate.
- Ensuring all Health & Safety regulations are complied with.
This role offers the opportunity to:
- Work with an onsite staff, while also experience working with external contractors.
- Have a lasting impact on the staff, tenants, and visitors, by ensuring operational efficiency.
- Form a close, direct relationship, with local authorities and a key range of stakeholders.
- Experience working on a beautiful, listed building.
The right candidate will be:
- Able to demonstrate strong operational knowledge, a track record of managing a team successfully and good contract management.
- An experienced worker in a customer-facing environment, (retail/shopping centre preferred).
- A confident, self-assured, team player, with the ability to inspire others through tough periods.
- Qualified correctly with either IOSH or NEBOSH.
