The successful candidate will oversee a large cleaning team, ensuring exceptional service delivery while maintaining a welcoming and immaculate environment for visitors, tenants, and stakeholders. With several retail fit outs currently taking place across the site, the role will also play a key part in maintaining standards during ongoing development activity.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES…
- Manage and lead a large on-site cleaning and soft services team.
- Provide strong leadership, coaching, and development to team members.
- Maintain exceptional cleaning standards across all public and back-of-house areas.
- Support the site during ongoing retail unit fit-outs, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are maintained throughout.
- Work closely with the wider Facilities Management team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Manage rotas, staffing levels, performance management, and training.
- Monitor service delivery through inspections, audits, and KPI tracking.
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
- Build strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders.
ABOUT YOU…
- Proven experience managing cleaning operations within a large, complex environment (shopping centres, retail destinations, airports, hospitals, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of Facilities Management and soft services operations.
- Demonstrated experience leading and motivating large teams.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain high standards in a busy environment, particularly during refurbishment or fit-out works.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to service delivery.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations within facilities or cleaning operations.
