Mid Year Update 2015

It seems incredible to write that we are fast approaching the mid point of 2015. For us, and I am sure for many of you, the first half of the year has come and gone in the blink of an eye. It has been another exciting period of time for Foundation Recruitment as we have continued to grow our International presence into new geographical areas including South Asia and certain areas of the Middle East. We also now have a much greater long term commitment to Western Europe and as a demonstration of this, we have introduced regional specialists with language skills and first hand knowledge of the countries/regions they will focus on. Our new consultants will focus on shopping centre management, leasing, asset management and development requirements and will work mainly with owners and operators of shopping centres within their geographical areas of expertise.

When Foundation Recruitment began to operate Internationally, there was one question that was asked of us by potential clients more frequently than any other – Is it possible for you to recruit Internationally whilst being based in the U.K.?

I admit that at first the question seems a valid one. We are a business that has built a reputation based on expert knowledge of our markets and by only providing candidates who not only have the skillset to fulfill a  particular role , but who also have personalities which  match the culture and aspirations of the employer.  To maintain the same level of accuracy working across different countries, cultures, regions and continents requires a genuine, ongoing commitment to the industry and sector. Clearly there is a significant amount of hard work involved as well!

We now feel that this question of whether we can recruit Internationally from our base in the UK has largely been answered. We are actively recruiting across various countries in Europe, we have recruited in Russia from Moscow to Siberia and we are retained by major developers in the Middle East and South Asia. Our journey is by no means complete and we remain dedicated to providing a best in class recruitment service to the organisations and people within this exciting sector.
