Manchester ‘Color Run’

On Saturday some of the Foundation team participated in the Manchester Color Run at the Etihad Stadium.

In the morning hours running up to the event, Manchester lived up to its rainy reputation, but luckily by the time the race began the sun came beaming through!

With a lot of laughs along the way and a couple of bad knees, we managed to make it round in good time.

It was a fantastic event, welcoming all ages, fitness levels and backgrounds, raising awareness for an array of charities. The Foundation team’s involvement was motivated by the NSPCC – a wonderful charity working hard to end child abuse across the UK and Channel Islands.

We managed to raise £571 plus £125 Gift Aid. Thank you so much to everyone who sponsored us, your support has been great. We haven’t closed our fund raising page yet, so if anyone would like to make a final donation to the NSPCC, visit our Just Giving page.

Thanks again to the Color Run team for running such a fantastic event – see you next year!
