Overview:
We are working on a Shopping Centre Manager role for a retail outlet in Doncaster. This role presents an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the outlet’s success and contribute to the growth of this renowned retail destination.
This role will have a strong commercial focus and will be responsible for leading the successful implementation of the Business Plan and strategic initiatives, ensuring the centre operates at the highest standard while delivering excellent service and value to both customers and occupants.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the delivery of the Centre Business Plan and key performance targets, maximizing turnover and footfall through effective collaboration with stores and the head quartered Marketing team
- Managing the operational budget and third-party suppliers to ensure cost control and compliance with legislation and client requirements.
- Nurturing a high-performing Centre Management team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
- Establishing productive relationships with occupants, implementing marketing strategies, and driving innovative on-site promotional activities to enhance customer spending and footfall
- Cultivating strong partnerships with local authorities and business communities, contributing to joint promotional activities and secondary income generation initiatives
- Overseeing the implementation of ESG initiatives and maintaining compliance with statutory requirements to protect and enhance asset value
- Collaborating with the Projects and Facilities Team for new projects and operational strategies, ensuring efficient and cost-effective execution

To be successful you will need:
- Extensive commercial focus and proven track record of driving commercial performance.
- Extensive senior management experience, preferably in a retail or property environment
- Exceptional relationship-building skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service
- Comprehensive knowledge of statutory legislation related to property management and a strong understanding of ESG principles and stakeholder dynamics
- Proven leadership abilities, including managing high-performing teams and multitasking with accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills, both internally and externally
- Strong writing and numerical skills, along with the ability to produce comprehensive reports and analyses.
