Overview of the Role

Are you ready to take the lead in managing a renowned retail destination, in the largest city in Kent? The Mall Maidstone is seeking a dynamic and innovative Centre Manager to direct and enhance the commercial profitability and performance of the site. Working directly for the landlord, Capital & Regional, you will play a key role in delivering the highest standards of customer satisfaction, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Engaging with internal & external stakeholders of the business, including tenants, the local community, and more.
  • Ensuring the site runs operationally smooth, leading the onsite team & overseeing contractors in hard & soft services, with the constant inclusion of all health & safety compliance.
  • Explore possible avenues for increasing ancillary income onsite, through commercialisation and other initiatives.

The right candidate will be:

  • Experienced in shopping centre management & within senior retail positions.
  • Available to work the occasional weekend, such as when there are important onsite events or important stakeholder meetings.
  • Commercially minded, looking for opportunities to increase revenue onsite.
