A key shopping centre in Glasgow is recruiting a Retail Support Manager to establish and maintain effective relationships with the tenants with a view to improve performance and drive customer experience and engagement. This is a newly created role and you will report in to the Centre Manager – an integral role with lots of responsibility!

The business is one of the best known and most aspirational brands in the real estate market and have an enviable portfolio of properties across the UK including landmark shopping destinations and high-spec commercial office. They’re known for great internal opportunities including training and networking – this would be the start of a very successful career!

The salary is up to £30,000 basic with benefits package.

Main responsibilities:

  • Engaging with retail partners at all levels (Store Manager to Managing Director).
  • Understanding and analysing performance trends at store level and across businesses.
  • Supporting the development of the shopping centre by liaising closely with all stakeholders to maintain relationships, communicate changes and manage expectations.
  • Being aware of retailer events and their impact on the centre, ensuring they run smoothly and are well managed.

Key competencies and experience:

  • Retail experience, management level or above.
  • An understanding of trends and ability to analyse data, making recommendations where appropriate.
  • Tenacious and energetic with strong communication skills.
  • Leadership qualities and experience.
  • Presentation and reporting writing skills.
  • Proven customer experience skills.
