Are you a marketing or commercialisation professional with a passion for retail? Are you experienced in social media marketing, event management or driving additional mall income in shopping centres? Do you have the commercial acumen to lead the offering at for a prestigious property management company?

We are working with a leading shopping centre managing agent to find a Marketing & Commercialisation Manager for a 350,000 sq. ft. shopping centre in Inverness. The scheme is home to several dominating retailers including M&S, Next and Topshop, as well as a food and beverage offering such as Pizza Express and Starbucks.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Managing the booking of mall promotion spaces with a range of different business and independent traders.
  • You will source, manage and achieve income targets at the centre in several strategic areas such as media, vending’s and mall kiosks.
  • Acting as lead contact and coordinator for marketing, communications and events.
  • Lead on all digital marketing activity.
  • Arranging and delivering enlivenment campaigns.
  • Liaising with tenants in the centre to drive promotional activity.
  • Co-ordinate activity on websites and social media platforms.
  • Raise external revenue through filming, pop-ups and external events.
  • Communication with occupiers relating to retailer offers, news and campaign feedback.
  • Support on events promotion to drive footfall to the shopping centre.
  • Stakeholder engagement with third party agencies, and occupiers and retailers.

Background and experience:

  • Previous experience within digital/social media marketing.
  • An understanding of the retail sector.
  • Excellent time management and confidence in communicating and working to a deadline.
  • Experience in the logistics of delivering onsite events.
  • Experience in website content and social media.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You are a confident leader and proven ambassador, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
