Foundation Recruitment is pleased to be collaborating  with a well-established Master Developer in their search for a Development Manager to join the team in Central London. The incumbent will be working alongside the Development Director and will play an essential role in the delivery of mixed use, large scale development schemes across the UK. With a focus on long term strategy, and partnering with local authorities, communities and local businesses our client is contributing to the creation of places, communities and a positive change.  This is a great opportunity to be part of it all whilst learning from the best in the sector!

The role:

  • Conduct appraisals, planning, feasibility reports and all other development elements (from delivery to completion) on the new and current schemes;
  • Lead all land sale negotiations from start through to legal meetings and closing;
  • Support all development projects on design, planning and construction phases;
  • Co-ordinate and manage all meetings with relevant parties (local authorities, design teams, external consultants);
  • Support in the production of annual strategic business plans;
  • Ensure section 106 obligations are met on time and on budget.

The candidate:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ PQE experience in a development management role;
  • Land transactions experience (buying or selling);
  • Experience in dealing with the planning process and consents;
  • RICS qualified, or demonstrable experience;
  • Relevant educational degree;
  • High commercial acumen;
  • Excellent communication skills and driven personality
