Foundation Recruitment is pleased to be collaborating with a well-established Master Developer in their search for a Land & Development Manager to join the team in Central London. The incumbent will be working alongside the Development Director and will play an essential role in the delivery of mixed-use, large scale development schemes across the UK. With a focus on long term strategy, and partnering with local authorities, communities and local businesses our client is contributing to the creation of places, communities, and a positive change.  This is a great opportunity to be part of it all whilst learning from the best in the sector!

The role:

  • Lead all land sale negotiations from start through to legal meetings and closing;
  • Conduct appraisals, planning, feasibility reports and all other development elements (from delivery to completion) on the new and current schemes;
  • Support all development projects on design, planning and construction phases;
  • Coordinate and manage all meetings with relevant parties (local authorities, design teams, external consultants);
  • Support in the production of annual strategic business plans;
  • Ensure section 106 obligations are met on time and on budget.

The candidate:

  • Land transactions experience (buying or selling);
  • Between 2 and 4 years’ PQE experience in a development management role;
  • Experience in dealing with the planning process and consents;
  • RICS qualified, or demonstrable experience;
  • Relevant educational degree;
  • High commercial acumen;
  • Excellent communication skills and driven personality.
