This is a fantastic opportunity to join a boutique investment manager at the early stages of its journey and growth. With an active investor client base made up of high net worth individuals and families, the business already has secure mandates across a range of value add and opportunistic assets, several with entire redevelopment possibilities. This key appointment will in part enable the founder to react to the enquiries being lodged from potential new clients, interested in working with the platform. The portfolio is currently heavily shopping centre weighted, however this is likely to shift as the AUM grow.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Take on a portfolio of assets and set the strategic direction to drive performance in the short and medium term, maximising revenue and occupancy
  • Review and recommend suitable investment opportunities, driving the investment process to a successful conclusion
  • Explore redevelopment opportunities, appointing and leading external multi-disciplinary teams to devise profitable development plans for investor consideration
  • For active developments, lead the professional team in the successful delivery of projects
  • Liaise and negotiate with all relevant authorities to secure planning and wider development consents
  • Build, manage and maintain excellent relationships with investment partners, agents, Council partners and tenants

The right candidate will be:

  • You will be a highly accomplished across the disciplines of investment, asset management and development management
  • Ideally you will have worked across a range of sub-sectors across the UK
  • We are open on your current environment, however its important that you have experience of creatively working more granular and challenging assets
  • Numerate, detailed, a strong communicator and an accomplished relationship manager
  • Determined and ambitious. This business is looking for energy and commitment
  • Happy to be based at the central London office 5 days per week
