Account Manager – Customer Acquisition/Seasonal Retail

Are you a strategic commercialisation professional with a passion for retail? Are you experienced in driving additional mall income in shopping centres or would you like to be? Do you have the commercial acumen to lead sales performance throughout a portfolio of prestigious shopping centres?

A top shopping centre landlord is recruiting for an Account Manager to drive customer acquisition and seasonal retail across a wide portfolio of shopping centres, made up of some the UK’s most successful retail and leisure destinations. Your focus will be to develop and maintain an existing client base of both independent retailers and world-famous brands whilst generating new business revenue from short term retail and promotional activity.

The ideal candidate will have a significant background in sales and/or account management, and preferably some knowledge or experience within the commercialisation industry.


  • Drive mall income by strategic management and operations, new deal negotiations and increasing tenancy.
  • Ensuring that a continual programme of improvements is undertaken in terms of quality of retailer, innovation, product mix and overall standards of design.
  • Developing and executing an ongoing commercialisation strategy and operations across the portfolio.
  • Developing professionally under the supervision of senior, experience staff who will offer training and support.
  • Building relationships with brands that are keen to acquire space in shopping centres to sell their products and services and you will negotiate lease agreements (after sufficient training).


  • Sales experience in retail plus an understanding of a Shopping Centre environment are highly desirable for this role.
  • You will show a clear passion for sales and delivery.
  • You are an avid sales professional with a flair for influencing a variety of stakeholders at all levels of seniority and disciplines.
  • You are a self-starter able to fulfil all aspects of commercialisation from negotiation to mobilisation of contracts.
  • You are a confident individual with bags of ambition.


You will be employed by a business who own and manage a significant number of the UK’s top performing retail and leisure destinations, whilst working alongside an experienced team and Sales Manager. You will be based out of the company’s London Head Office and have the opportunity to travel UK wide to visit schemes you are working on projects at. The role is target driven so determination and drive to succeed is essential!
